Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 May 2026
These terms govern your use of the UnderStand UPSC Prelims Marks Predictor (scorepredictor.understandupsc.com), a free score-calculation tool for the UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. Service is free
The Service is free to use. There is no paywall, premium tier, or hidden charge. The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty.
2. One submission per mobile number
To keep the aggregated distribution statistics accurate, each mobile number can submit one prediction per UPSC Prelims cycle. You may revisit your saved score any number of times by signing in with the same mobile number.
3. Accuracy disclaimer
The predicted scores are indicative and based on answer keys published by coaching institutes, not the official UPSC answer key (which is released after the final result). Scores may vary slightly from your official UPSC score. The Service is not affiliated with UPSC and does not guarantee selection.
4. Answer keys are sourced from coaching institutes
Answer keys displayed on the Service are attributed to the coaching institutes that published them. We aggregate publicly-released keys; we don't modify or interpret them. Discrepancies between institutes are shown side-by-side; you decide which to trust.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any purpose other than calculating your UPSC Prelims score.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service.
- Submit fake mobile numbers, automated bot submissions, or fraudulent data that would distort the aggregated statistics for other students.
- Scrape, copy, or republish content from the Service without permission.
We may suspend or disable accounts that violate these.
6. Intellectual property
The Service's code, design, and aggregated data are owned by UnderStand UPSC / Upclass.ai. Coaching institute answer keys are the IP of the respective institutes; we display them with attribution under fair use for the purpose of student score calculation.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnderStand UPSC and Upclass.ai are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service or any reliance on the projected scores.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance.
